Why Tango?
Tango is an excellent way to improve fitness. It enhances balance, coordination, and posture while offering a full-body workout that’s both fun and effective. It helps build strength, flexibility, and endurance, contributing to better health and a more active lifestyle.
Dancing Tango sharpens the mind. The need to stay present, remember choreography, and anticipate your partner’s moves engages cognitive functions and memory. Tango has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, and boost mental clarity.
The connection between partners in Tango fosters a deep sense of intimacy and trust. Tango also helps develop emotional intelligence, as it requires empathy, patience, and communication. The dance allows individuals to express emotions creatively, which can be incredibly therapeutic and rewarding.
Tango brings people together in a unique way. It’s not just about the dance; it’s about building a sense of community. Social dancing offers opportunities to meet new people, form friendships, and enhance social networks, all of which contribute to a richer, more fulfilling life.
Mastering the movements and the rhythm of Tango helps develop confidence. Tango is an art form that allows individuals to express themselves through movement, creating a sense of accomplishment and joy that extends to everyday life.
In short, Tango isn’t just a dance — it’s a path to greater happiness, improved health, and deeper connections. Whether someone is looking to get fit, relieve stress, or meet new people, Tango offers a transformative experience that can enhance life in countless ways.

Tango begins with a short sequence of movements you synchronize with your partner. It can take about 20 minutes until you start flowing. Then, you add some new movements and face the challenge of improving your balance and technique, which can take another 20 minutes. At the end of an hour of practice, you will understand the first aim of tango and will be ready to continue.
You are welcome to join the Tango lessons even without a partner. You can start practising the technique and try it with the teachers while your partner shows up. The techniques in the Tango dance are individual, so what you improve alone is an investment for your couple dance.
The Tango dance has three rhythms: tango, Milonga, and Vals. These rhythms have various periods and orchestral styles, and formations have changed in the golden age of orchestras. Between the 40s and 60s, around 200 orchestras were played in Milongas, theatres, carnivals, radio stations, etc.
